Mick Philpott, a jobless farther of 17 who lived with his wife and mistress gained notoriety in the UK after appearing in the press and on several TV programs defending his benefits funded lifestyle. The violent domineering Philpott burned down his own house killing 6 of his children in an elaborate plot hatched to act revenge on his ex lover.
