For a 13 month period between November 15 1966 and December 15 1967, a town called Point Pleasant in West Virginia was subjected to an ongoing series of extremely odd and disturbing events that involved a 7 ft tall winged creature with glowing red eyes. The entity was given the name “The Mothman”. It was seen by hundreds if not thousands of people, the events were made into a movie called The Mothman Prophecies .The oddities stopped 13 months to the day after they started with the collapse of the Silver Bridge over the Ohio river with the loss of 46 lives.
